We cannot establish exactly which was our first print, because on our brand’s first year, we created 5-6 prints to attend our first events, so they were technically, all launched the same time, but The Sea Jewels, was indeed, the first one that made us took the brushes, learn how to use printing techniques and with very few resources, make some pics in a sea town nearby our city.
The Sea Jewels is deeply inspired in 1900s fantasy and Edwardian and 1920s postcards that got edited manually to create enchanting collages. With inspiration from Georges Mèlies, Follies Bergere and Art Nouveau fantasy it speaks of a world of possibilities through theatre and performance. The Sea Jewels is a pirate's treasure box, full of coins, jewels lost in the sea, recovered by adventurous pirate stories. The sea jewels speaks of a world deep in the ocean, fully feminine, safe and magical, that is protected with the deepness scary seas over them. Not everyone will be able to get into the abyss to discover it.
